FutureLearn Course Beginning February 1 2016
The University of Glasgow in Scotland has coordinated with FutureLearn.com to provide an indepth look at Antiquities Trafficking and Art Crime. This opportunity spans 3 weeks. It is free. Just click on the link above. If you choose to receive certification for having completed the course, you will pay a fee. This is something you can elect to do at the end of the course.
The online instructors have extensive involvement with this subject. I didn’t know there was a Journal of Art Crime, published since 2009. In 2008 I was present during a raid taking place in a California museum where looted articles had been donated.
Savvy collectors are always hungry to know more about the art market in all its permutations !
